Staying at HGB
If you have to stay overnight at HGB for more involved care, you will find yourself in a warm, modern environment with some of the best nurses and doctors in the area. We have designed our inpatient wing to be as comfortable as possible so that you, your family members, and friends will feel at home.

The Medical and Surgical Unit at HGB is an 18-bed area that provides compassionate care for the members of our community in need of inpatient services. All patient rooms at HGB are private and very spacious. We embrace the opportunity to care for our friends and neighbors.

Patients and their visitors will find quiet, carpeted hallways; artwork and quilts from local artisans; bright, cheerful colors; and a relaxed waiting area with refreshments and children's activities.

The primary care model allows registered nurses to provide hands-on bedside nursing while teaching the patients about their illnesses and sharing information to encourage wellness.

The Medical and Surgical Unit works in partnership with other departments to provide for a complete continuum of patient care.
