The Respiratory Services team is here to serve inpatients and outpatients of all ages. We provide you with comprehensive care focusing on the treatment and prevention of cardiopulmonary dysfunction.

Respiratory care is a life-supporting, life-enhancing healthcare profession working in conjunction with physicians, nursing, patients, and families. We work closely with the patient-care areas throughout the hospital, including Emergency, Perioperative Services, Anesthesia, and the Obstetrical, Medical-Surgical, and Monitored Care Units.

Range of Services
The Respiratory Services Department provides:

  • 24-hour coverage
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Bronchodilator therapy
  • Lung expansion therapy
  • Chest physiotherapy
  • Patient education
  • HGB Homecare visits
  • Mechanical ventilation
  • Diagnostic testing such as Spirometry, ABGs, ECGs, and Holter monitoring
  • Active involvement in the ASSIST program for smoking cessation

Our outpatient testing is scheduled on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Thursdays from 12:30 to 4 p.m.
