Maintaining Independence: Conversations about Long-Term Care

Care PlanningThe Eaton Area Estate Planning Council is providing a facilitated conversation open to the public that will feature a local panel with diverse perspectives, who will demystify issues involved in planning for long-term care.

Planning is crucial.  Sometimes the laws change after we have made our plans.  Keeping up with our plans can save money and maximize our choices in the future. While every situation is unique, there are general strategies available.  Knowing the options, evenknowing what questions to raise, can help create a plan to encompass not only the health care and placement aspects but also identify and establish funding sources. Understanding long-term care contracts and governmental programs is also key and it can be challenging to keep up with all the complex and changing elements.

There is no charge for attending and there will be no solicitation for any services or products. Light refreshments will be provided.

Eaton Area Estate Planning Council is a local group of legal and financial professionals focused on community education.
