Charlotte, Mich. – The mid-Michigan community is invited to attend Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital’s 2nd Annual Gala Thursday, Sept. 11. The fund-raising event, sponsored by MSU Federal Credit Union, will take place at AL!VE, the hospital’s health park, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“This memorable event will provide enchanting experiences for all who attend,” said Barbara Fulton, HGB director of community development.
The theme for this year’s gala is “under the trees,” inspired by the Richard Mabey quote, “To be without trees would, in the most literal way, to be without our roots.”
Similarly, HGB would not be the health care facility it is today without the roots provided by a community that honors its heritage and a long tradition of generosity. “We still exist today, as a strong and successful hospital, because of the overwhelming support from the community in which we serve,” said Fulton. “Our supporters create core strength for HGB and, without them, we would be without the roots that anchor and secure us.”
HGB’s Development Council has planned an evening full of excitement including a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, unique photo opportunities, heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by Seasonal Grille, a cash bar and music provided by Tunes Are Us. Festive dress is encouraged. Free childcare will be available for those attending the event who pre-register at (517) 541-5803.
The annual gala will be held at AL!VE: Your Community Well-Being Place at 800 W. Lawrence Avenue in Charlotte, Mich. In preparation, classes normally scheduled at AL!VE after 5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 11, will be canceled.
This year’s tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased online at www.hgbhealth.com/supporting-hgb. If there are questions regarding the event or to make other arrangements to purchase tickets, call 517-543-1050, ext. 2190.
Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital has been the greater Charlotte community’s choice for health care for more than 80 years. HGB is committed to working together in health to provide quality care and enhance the vitality of the community.
