CHARLOTTE, Mich. – Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital is excited to welcome all to an “Evening of Discovery” at its third annual fund-raising gala from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday, September 17.
This year’s theme is inspired by the Albert Szent-Gyorgyi quote, “Discovery consists of looking at the same thing as everyone else and thinking something different.”
“The theme of discovery will be carried throughout each element at the event,” said Barbara Fulton, HGB director of community development. “From photo opportunities and auction items to the various discovery stations and food and beverage creations, it is our goal to help guests rediscover HGB and its vibrant history of serving the Charlotte community. And with the help of Impression 5 Science Center, attendees will truly experience the fun of discovery.”
HGB’s Development Council has planned an evening of excitement including silent auction items, a 50/50 raffle, unique photo opportunities, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and music by Tunes Are Us. The event is generously supported by Presenting Sponsor MSU Federal Credit Union, Discovery Station Sponsor Independent Bank, and Design Sponsors: Sommer Building Corporation and Pray Funeral Home.
The annual gala will be held at AL!VE: Your Community Well-Being Place, located at 800 W. Lawrence Avenue in Charlotte, Mich.
