Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital is excited to welcome all to an energetic evening of creativity and connection at its sixth annual fundraising gala from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 13.
This year’s theme is inspired by the Angela Ahrendts quote, "Think of energy almost like emotional electricity. It has a powerful way of uniting ordinary people, their connected spirit, to do extraordinary things."
HGB’s Development Council has planned an evening of memorable experiences, including an interactive silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, heavy appetizers, a cash bar and live entertainment by The Dangling Participles. The hospital will also be celebrating its 85th birthday!
“There will be exhibits and displays honoring HGB’s history that will hint at what the community can expect when we open Heritage Hall at the hospital in November,” said Barbara Fulton, HGB director of community development.
This year’s silent auction includes experience-themed items such as a five-night stay at a private condo in Cabo San Lucas, a handmade queen-size quilt, a pie-making class in RELISH, the teaching kitchen at AL!VE, a backyard party and quarterback coaching session with an NFL football player, an overnight party in the GROW tree house at AL!VE, and many more. Attendees will have the option to use their smart phones to view and bid on auction items, or to bid through an auction kiosk at the event.
HGB’s Annual Gala is generously supported by Presenting Sponsor MSU Federal Credit Union. MSUFCU has been a gala sponsor each year, making possible many of the event’s unique elements. We are also very grateful for the support of Advanced Radiology Services, Platinum Sponsor; EPMG, Gold Sponsor; and AON and Branden Dyer, Bronze Sponsors.
“The Gala continues to grow and offer new experiences each year thanks to the generous support of all our sponsors and attendees,” Fulton said.
The gala will be held at AL!VE: Your Community Well-Being Place, located at 800 W. Lawrence Ave., in Charlotte, Mich.
