HGB announces new director of perioperative services and women’s health

Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Jennifer Wren, M.B.A., R.N., as its new director of perioperative services and women’s health. 

Wren oversees the daily operations of perioperative services, including same-day surgery, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, operating and procedure rooms, central sterile processing and endoscopy. In addition, she also directs and coordinates the delivery of women’s health services throughout the organization.

“I am excited to join HGB during this time of enhanced commitment to women’s health and the health and vitality of the greater Charlotte community,” said Wren. “HGB has a great team of dedicated staff who work to hard to create excellent care for its patients, and I am humbled to be part of that team.”

Before joining HGB, Wren was the director and service line executive for women and children’s health at Allegiance Health in Jackson, Mich. Additionally, she served as the faculty and specialty area coordinator for leadership and management at Spring Arbor University. Wren received her Bachelors of Science degree in nursing from Eastern Michigan University, and also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Spring Arbor College.
