Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital's Rehabilitation Services presents "Breast Health and Exercise" at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12.
The free hour-long educational session will include information on the risk factors associated with breast cancer, treatments, the importance of exercise and how to improve and maintain overall health.
One in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer, which can dramatically impact a woman's lifestyle and daily activities. Exercise can improve a woman's functional outcome and overall health, especially following surgery.
