HGB recognized for exceeding patient expectations for fourth year

Charlotte, Mich. – Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital has received the 2011 Exceeding Patient Expectations Award from Avatar International, an industry leader in healthcare quality improvement services. This is the fourth year HGB was honored with this recognition.  

The Exceeding Patient Expectations Award is based on patient surveys conducted by Avatar at approximately 400 hospitals nationwide. It is given to the facilities whose overall score exceeds expectations for whichever patient types they currently survey, gauging patient expectations about quality of care, reliability and personal service. 

HGB attributes its ongoing success in this area to the expertise and communication skills of its staff members.
