Charlotte, Mich. – Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital has received the 2011 Exceeding Patient Expectations Award from Avatar International, an industry leader in healthcare quality improvement services. This is the fourth year HGB was honored with this recognition.
The Exceeding Patient Expectations Award is based on patient surveys conducted by Avatar at approximately 400 hospitals nationwide. It is given to the facilities whose overall score exceeds expectations for whichever patient types they currently survey, gauging patient expectations about quality of care, reliability and personal service.
HGB attributes its ongoing success in this area to the expertise and communication skills of its staff members.
"Hayes Green Beach employees take great pride in providing patients a caring, quality experience," said Matt Rush, FACHE, HGB president and CEO. "It is that level of team commitment that allows us to continue to be recognized for providing a consistently high level of service to the community members who use our hospital’s services."
"Hayes Green Beach has gone above and beyond to exceed its patients’ expectations," said David Medvedeff, PharmD, MBA and Avatar CEO. "As a result of their efforts, Hayes Green Beach is extremely deserving of this year’s Exceeding Patient Expectations Award."
