New women’s health practice joins HGB

Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce A New Beginning, Obstetrics and Gynecology as its newest women’s health physician practice.

A New Beginning, which also has an established practice in Haslett, provides complete obstetrical and gynecological services including, but not limited to:

  • Low- and high-risk obstetrical care
  • Annual exams
  • Contraceptive counseling
  • Modern management of menopause and hormone therapy
  • Surgical services

“HGB is very excited to further enhance its women’s health services and offer our community expanded hours and options,” said Patrick Salow, HGB executive vice president of physician services and compliance. “A New Beginning comes to us with an established, excellent reputation based on high-quality, high-touch care. They will work closely with JOURNEY, our women’s health center at AL!VE.”

Physicians on staff at A New Beginning are Michael Maser, D.O.; Jacqueline Mirate, D.O.; Robert Seiler, D.O.; and Stacey Tremp, D.O.

Dr. Maser cares for low- and high-risk pregnancies, and offers preventative care for women, cervical cancer screening and modern safe management of menopause. He also offers a full spectrum of surgical procedures.

Dr. Mirate provides education, diagnosis, screening and treatment for gynecological, fertility and obstetrical issues. She performs traditional and specialty minimally-invasive surgical procedures.

Dr. Seiler provides comprehensive care in both obstetrics and gynecology and has a special interest in robotic surgery. He is the chair of the Ob/Gyn department at McLaren-Greater Lansing, an assistant professor at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a national board examiner.

Dr. Tremp enjoys being an important part of women’s lives and has a special interest in minimally-invasive surgeries, urogynecology and obstetrics. She is an assistant clinical instructor at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The community can meet the physicians from A New Beginning at HGB’s Women’s Health Experience from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 4. The event focuses on five dimensions of women’s health, with a special emphasis on breast care in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month. There will be a physician panel that will include Dr. Seiler and Dr. Tremp, guest speaker Cathy George, MSU’s women’s volleyball coach, and several interactive activities and educational booths, including information from A New Beginning.
